What’s Your Favorite Heel?
If you were going to pick your ideal shoe to wear on a regular basis, what type of heel would it have? Stiletto? Wedge? Stacked? Flat?
By far, my favorite is the kitten heel. Popularized by the ever classy and fashionable Audrey Hepburn, the kitten heel has a feminine curve and is normally 1 1/2″ to 2″ high. You can find nearly every style of shoe - pumps, slingbacks, sandals, slides - with a kitten heel. They are oh so chic and just the right height that they can be worn with just about everything.
Here are just some of my favorites.
Affordable Choice:
These leather Steve Madden pumps have a 1″ kitten heel and are priced at only $39.99 from Shoes.com. Their fabulous wine color will go great with your fall wardrobe.
Mid Priced Option:
These Anne Klein peep-toe pumps come in a fabulous multi-color print as well as black suede and platinum leather. They are fun and come at a great price at $82.95 from Zappos.com.
Luxury Buy:
These black satin slides from the Manolo Blahnik fall collection are simply gorgeous with the rosette on the vamp and all the other detailing. You can get them from Neiman Marcus for $630.

I love the wedge for comfort reasons, and the different height availabilities. Your kitten heel choice sure is pretty, but not as comfortable for me.

I love a kitten heel. I don’t have a very high arch so they don’t leave my feet aching too much.
I vow to own a pair of leopard print peep toe shoe this fall.

I am tall but love to wear all sorts of high heel shoes.
I like the kitten heel because those shoes are easy to walk in and are comfortable to stand in for a long period of time.
Style wise, I love the Anne Klein leopard print shoe, although the Steve Madden ones are more in my price range.
